communications/technology: ELIZABETH MARTINEZ
- Time commitment: Monthly meetings (1.5-2 hrs/month), plus 1-2 hrs/month to work on the following:
- Maintaining and updating the NSNA website
- Collecting content and posting to social media accounts 2x/month
- Working with membership and president to send out communication to members as needed
membership - chair: DESIREE IRONS-QUINTANO
- Time commitment: Monthly meetings (1.5-2 hrs/month), plus 1-2 hrs/month to work on the following:
- Develop a plan to invite new members to meetings
- Develop a plan to encourage non-members to join.
- Inform members when membership needs to be renewed.
- Report membership status at each meeting.
- Implement any state or national membership campaigns.
state conference planning - chair: open
- Time commitment: Monthly meetings (1.5-2 hrs/month), meetings at least 2x/month as conference nears in June, plus 1-2 hrs/month to work on the following:
- Organizing and leading the committee to help plan the state conference
- Finding a venue
- organizing and finding speakers for breakout sessions
- logistical planning of the vendor show
- Organizing and leading the committee to help plan the state conference
bylaws/standing rules - chair: open
- Time commitment: Monthly meetings (1.5-2 hrs/month), plus 1-2 hrs/month to work on the following:
- Reviewing current Bylaws
- Creating/updating standing rules (we currently do not have any, but need them)
state agency - CO-chairS: ALLEN WHITENACK & ERICA JARAMILLO
- This position is to be filled by an employee of the Nevada Department of Agriculture to be the liaison between the Department and NSNA.
